Midnight Fried Rice with Komodo Black
Named for its deep, dark color from Komodo Black's Indonesian soy base, this fried rice is a complete meal that comes together in minutes.
Ingredients
- 3 cups day-old rice
- 3 tablespoons Komodo Black sauce
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Protein of choice (shrimp, chicken, or tofu)
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Scramble eggs and set aside.
- Add more oil if needed. Stir-fry garlic and vegetables for 2 minutes.
- Add rice, breaking up any clumps. Stir-fry 3-4 minutes until heated through.
- Pour Komodo Black over rice and toss vigorously to coat evenly.
- Return eggs to wok. Add sesame oil and green onions. Toss to combine.
- Serve immediately with extra Komodo Black on the side.
